Open your eyes.

I believe that there is always good in each and every person. The problem is that not EVERYONE will take the time to try find it. Most of us just take everything or everyone at face value. Let's face it, no matter how hard some people try to say that they don't judge by looks, their first impression is usually somewhere along the lines of appearance being 70% and personality being 30%, then eventually as we get to know the person, in the end, it will always come down to personality mattering more than looks.

I'm sure everyone has some friends that can be viewed as assholes, but the main fact is that we're still friends with them because we KNOW they have good in them. The world hasn't undergone a chaotic change recently because people change, people now realize that they have the choice to open their eyes to the bigger picture rather than turn a blind eye and carry a guilt sack on their backs.

Let me give an example, in 1945, the U.S dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki followed right after. The entire world was astonished, powerless to do very much. Look at us now. Recently, after Japan faced a tsunami that wiped out hundreds, maybe thousands of people, the world didn't just stop and stare this time. Everyone now has the power to show support, and that's exactly what they're doing.

My statement is, we all have at one point wronged someone else, and I'm sure that most of us still have that hidden in our hearts. Right now, we're all living the way we do because of most of the things we've done in the past, but we're trying to make this better. Everyone has some good in them, we just need to look a little closer to see the good in other people just as much as we see the good in ourselves.

In Judaism, there's a phrase: "The world is broken into many pieces, and it's up to us to put the pieces back together." If you looks a little closer, we all have to work together, and then we eventually becomes those pieces. I believe that the future is bright, as long as everyone works together, we can overcome an obstacles. We are not alone in our troubles, there is always someone willing to help, we just need to take the hand that's already there.

Consideration, cooperation, unity, compassion.

It's in all of us. We just need to express it when we can.
